A little breather and some pretty flowers before everything goes to hell again! I've re-written and re-thumbed the next several pages probably a dozen times, but they're coming out beautifully. Sometimes it's so tricky to hit the right notes without being ham-handed. I can't wait to share!

I'm rereading Tomasi and Gleason's Batman and Robin run right now, and omg if I could just inject that stuff directly into my bloodstream... Obviously we're all webcomics readers here, but what are your favorite printed comics? I recently read Kings in Disguise by James Vance and Dan E. Burr, and can't recommend it highly enough to anyone who likes period pieces and having your heart repeatedly taped together/stomped on.

Hey, finally found the time to get all caught up on this comic! Beautiful pages as always, the flowers on this one are particularly well-drawn.

As for print comics- I actually tend to read more of them than I do webcomics, haha. There's just some charm to the paper that a screen can't beat, for me. I'm not sure I could name a single favorite, but Antoine Ozanam's and Antoine Carrion's "Temudjin" is definitely up there, along with most of Tony Sandoval's ethereal graphic novels and maybe Duarte's and Afonso's "O Baile" on the slightly more gruesome side. I'm a big fan of surreal stuff with strong visuals, haha. "Lake of Fire" by Matt Smith and Nathan Fairbarn is a good one too, if purely for how ingenious the concept of setting an alien invasion in the early middle ages is. (It's a lot better than it sounds.)

Nice, it's always cool to get pointed toward good comics I've never even heard of. I'm definitely checking out "Lake of Fire," that looks amazing.
I agree-- eventually I hope to have this comic printed. I've always imagined it in conjunction with an old school feel paper, maybe even matte... or risograph!... hmmm
Thanks! More to come :)

Nice job on this - great choices for the limited colour palette and graphic linework. I'm interested to see where the story goes from here.

Print comics? The last print comic I bought new as it came out was House of X/Powers of X. I just re-read Shirow's Appleseed. I must admit I am try9ing to find my way in the post-Ellis comics world

Thank you so much and thanks for reading!

Cool, I hadn't heard of Appleseed. I admit I have a soft spot for cyborg dudes
